Terms and Conditions of Sale

These terms and conditions aim to inform our guests about the conditions and procedures relating to accommodation, booking, cancellation, the responsibilities of each party, and the management of data collected in connection with our professional activity.

These terms and conditions may be modified at any time without prior notice. The information published on this official website prevails over any information distributed by our partners, including with regard to our booking and cancellation policy.

  1. 1. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Sale

Any booking made with the entry of bank details implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) for our guest rooms and our holiday cottage (gîte), as well as your consent to the use of your personal data transmitted to us.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and safeguarding the confidentiality of the personal information you provide. This information is not shared and is used solely for administrative and practical purposes during your stay (see our Privacy Policy https://lesoleilho.com/politique-confidentialité/).

  2. Welcome

Le meilleur accueil sera réservé à nos hôtes. Nous nous engageons à assurer personnellement leur accueil avec toute l’attention souhaitable permettant de faciliter leur séjour.

Guests will receive the warmest welcome. We personally commit to receiving our guests and offering all necessary attention to facilitate their stay.
Rooms and bathrooms are checked daily at no extra charge. For environmental reasons, for stays exceeding 7 days, bed linen is replaced weekly unless the guest requests otherwise.
Our guesthouse activity is registered under SIRET number 49331953700038.

Our guest rooms and gîte comply with Articles D.324-13 and D.324-14 of the French Tourism Code.

  3. Prices

The prices listed on this website are final prices including all taxes (TTC) in euros (€), VAT included, excluding tourist tax. These prices apply to bookings made directly with Le Soleilho, without intermediaries. Room rates are per room and per night, for up to two people in double rooms, four people in the “La Tour” room, and eight people in the gîte, for the selected period.
Breakfast is not included in the guest room price. Breakfast in the gîte is self-service; provided ingredients are intended solely for this purpose, and no additional requests will be accepted.

Tourist tax is extra, in accordance with current regulations.

Our rates and offers are subject to availability at the time of booking and may not apply to future bookings. Conditions, rates, and offers may be changed without notice.

As the house ambience changes regularly, the photos available on this website and on social media are non-contractual.

  4. Tourist Tax

The tourist tax is a local tax that guests must pay to the owners, who then transfer it to the Communauté de Communes du Grand Figeac.

In accordance with Article L.2333-29 and following of the French General Code of Local Authorities, the tourist tax is charged per night (per person per night) from 1 January to 31 December inclusive.

The rate for 2025 is €0.80 per night per person. Minors are exempt.

  5. Booking Procedures

All bookings must be confirmed in writing (email). The guest must provide a valid email address and mobile phone number.

Le Soleilho invites guests to verify the following details:

    • Their contact details — especially email address and mobile number

    • The room(s) booked, number of guests, arrival date, departure date, number of nights
    • The total price of the booking, indicated inclusive of all taxes but excluding tourist tax

In the case of a deposit or down payment (bookings made outside the lesoleilho.com website), the amount will be deducted from the final invoice on the day of departure.

Bookings are made for a specific number of guests.

If, upon arrival, the number of guests exceeds the number stated at booking, Le Soleilho reserves the right to refuse the additional guests. Such refusal cannot be considered a modification or breach of contract by Le Soleilho, and if more guests leave than those refused, no refund will be issued.

The gîte may be privately rented for a price of €175 (excluding tourist tax).

In case of any damage identified within 10 days after departure, the corresponding repair or replacement cost will be invoiced. An additional invoice will be issued and must be settled by the tenant.

  7. Duration of Stay

The stay is agreed for a fixed duration as stated in the written booking confirmation. Guests may not, under any circumstances, claim any right to remain on the premises beyond the agreed period.

  8. Payment Methods

Accepted payment methods are: cash (euros), bank cheque—from a bank domiciled in France (payable to Isabelle ANDRE), standard bank transfer or Wero transfer (exclusively in €), including international transfers for guests outside the EU.

In our guest rooms, the balance of the stay and any additional services are to be paid at the end of the stay. Failure to contest the service in writing within 24 hours requires full payment at the displayed rate.

An invoice will be issued upon departure detailing accommodation, additional services, and tourist tax. VAT is not applied.

  9. Booking Modification and Cancellation

Any modification must be requested directly from Le Soleilho, by post, email at lesoleilho@proton.me, or by phone/WhatsApp/SMS at +33 6 61 28 57 42.

A cancellation request is only valid once accepted and confirmed by Le Soleilho via email or SMS.

In case of cancellation, reimbursement is possible according to the cancellation date:

    • If cancellation occurs at least two (2) days before arrival, no penalty applies.

If less than 48 hours before arrival, deposits and down payments are non-refundable.
If the booking was made via the website, your card will be charged for the full stay.

If the guest leaves before the scheduled end of stay, Le Soleilho reserves the right to charge the full amount of the planned stay.

In case of no-show, the full amount of the booking is due.

  10. Cancellation Policy for Private Gîte Rental

Any modification or cancellation must follow the same procedure as above.
    In case of cancellation:

    • If cancellation occurs at least thirty-one (31) days before arrival, no penalty applies.
    • Beyond this period, all sums paid are non-refundable.

If the guest leaves earlier than planned, the total amount of the stay remains non-refundable.

If the owner cancels the booking, all amounts already paid will be refunded to the guest.

  12. Promotional Offers

    Promotional offers are not cumulative.

  17. Pets

Pets are not allowed. However, a cat lives in the house but is not permitted in the guest rooms.

  18. Use of Premises and House Rules

Guests are expected to respect the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of Le Soleilho.

The entire property (rooms, gîte, dining room, etc.) is strictly non-smoking. Smoking is prohibited indoors and at windows.

Due to an old staircase, the house is not suitable for young children or persons with reduced mobility. Children under 4 years old cannot be accommodated.

Minors remain under the full responsibility of their parents or legal guardians.

Guests must leave rooms in perfect condition, report any damage, and assume associated costs.

Objects placed at guests’ disposal must be respected. Any missing items will be invoiced at replacement value.

Meals may be taken on the terrace or balcony but never inside the rooms.

The kitchen is not freely available. Guests may use the convivial space on the 2nd floor, accessible between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. Only the provided accessories and ingredients (tea, instant coffee, water, syrups, ice) may be used. Dishes must be cleaned and returned. House linen stored in this area must not be touched; any use may result in cleaning or replacement fees.

Guests may access their rooms and common areas freely at any time. However, Le Soleilho is poorly soundproofed (old wooden floors, creaking stairs). Guests are asked not to move furniture and to keep noise to a minimum. Noise is prohibited after 10 p.m.

  19. Personal Belongings

Le Soleilho declines any responsibility in case of theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings. Forgotten items may be returned at the guest’s request and expense.

  20. Security

Only guests staying at Le Soleilho are allowed to enter the property and use the common areas.

  21. GDPR Compliance

For administrative purposes (including police records) and operational reasons, we collect information such as first names, surnames, nationalities of all guests, and the ages of children (for tourist tax calculation). A mobile phone number and email address are also required.

All data remain confidential and are used solely for internal purposes within the scope of the contractual relationship. They will never be shared with third parties except upon official request (e.g., police forms).

Data is retained for 5 years after the end of the contractual relationship. You may exercise your data rights at any time by email.

  22. Jurisdiction

This contract is governed by French law.

Any disputes relating to its validity, interpretation, execution, termination, consequences, or aftermath shall be submitted to the competent courts under standard legal provisions.
